What does the name HOAX stand for?
The name, HOAX, carries a deep, symbolic meaning — a fusion of hearts, orchids & kisses. The Heart(H) symbolises: passion, love, and connection. While the Orchid (O), with its elegant and exotic presence, represents beauty, sophistication, and rarity. Together, they form the essence of the brand, an interplay between nature’s grace and the power of human emotion. And (A) Kisses (X) the final piece of our story, symbolise the intimate, powerful moments that make us feel alive and unforgettable.
Is HOAX a sustainable brand?
Yes — sustainability is at the heart of HOAX.
We use premium regenerated materials such as ECONYL®, REPREVE, and Carvico, made from salvaged fishing nets, plastic bottles, and recycled ocean waste. Our dyes and processes are eco-conscious, and our packaging is fully compostable or recyclable.

How long does shipping take?
Within Australia: typically 2–8 business days
International orders: 5-12 business days varies by country.

You’ll receive tracking as soon as your order ships. We will work quickly to ship our order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
What is the return policy?
Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.
- At HOAX, we offer exchanges or store credit on eligible returns.
- You must contact us for a return within 14 days of the delivery date
- We do not offer refunds unless your item arrives faulty or damaged.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable, and store credit will be issued for the product value only.
- All returns must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with hygiene stickers and tags still attached.
To start a return, simply submit a request through our Return Request Form. Once approved, you’ll receive your RAN (Return Authorisation Number) and instructions on how to send your item back.

All HOAX swimwear is ethically handcrafted in Bali by skilled artisans who specialise in luxury swimwear production. We work closely with our manufacturing partners to ensure fair working conditions, high-quality craftsmanship, and small-batch production that aligns with our slow-fashion values.

• Avoid rough surfaces and wringing
